  1. I don't know if this post is still active but if it is, Could you help me with this .jar file? I have problems understanding completely the way this is implemented in iReport. I'm using iReport 5.5.0, I tried to attach it and then try it out on an image element but I get this error: "com.jaspersoft.ireport.designer.errorhandler.ProblemItem@12ff416 The method rotateText(String, Font, int, int, int, Color) is undefined for the type String" Thanks.
  2. Hello everybody, I hope you can help me with a problem I'm having, I need to rotate some fields I get from a database (both string and int) at around 45° and other directions. I know a question like this has been asked and answered before: http://community.jaspersoft.com/questions/526526/how-rotate-text-field-45-degrees#99620 The solution at the bottom seems to be very acceptable, however I can't seem to be able to make it work. I copied the code that appears there and made it a .jar file, then I added it to iReport and then I tried it out with an image componen as it's what the instrunctions say but when I try to preview the report it gives this error: "The method rotateText(String, Font, int, int, int, Color) is undefined for the type String" I have to say, my knowledge on Java, .jar files and XML is close to null, sorry for that... So far, I barely know what I'm doing. If anyone out there has used this before and made it worked, I would be very thankful if you could help me since I really need to be able to rotate values in other ways besides the ones in iReport (left, right, upside-down). Using iReport 5.5.0.
