jasperreports 5.6.1 backward compatibility

Upgrading from 3.7 - 5.2 to 5.6.1http://community.jaspersoft.com/documentation/jasperreports-server-upgrade-guide/v561/upgrading-37-52-561 I have just updated from 5.1 to 5.6. The reports are not opening in iReports designer.
