Hi every one! How to control visibility of sort icon/char in table element of report? It became visible, if there is sort field on corresponding dataset field. It looks horrible.

There is version 6.0.3 on site? On Sourceforge distributive (jasperreports-6.0.3-project.zip) not contain jasperreports-functions, as well as jasperreports-functions still not in Maven Central. Dear releasers, what happened with release process?

There is some progress on this task? It seems there is no simple way to merge cells (by rows) in grid by grouping on some field, like in crosstab. And it is strange, because grouping mechanismis implemented by groups, which is heads the group of values. So it will be useful to use grouping not like "top header", but "left/right" header.

Up. Have the same problem - merge cells by rows for same values. Maybe it is a good idea to have some grouping/merging function for column in table component.
