The jrxml file isn't corrupt because I can open the report in an application that uses it. And i can't upgrade the version. Help!

When I try to open a report in editor, I get a dialog: Error: ; nested exception is: java.lang.RuntimeException The server is on a Windows 7 PC, over iReport 4.0.0 and my server is JBoss 4.2.2. I am trying to open this report in other computer with Windows 8.1 and iReport 4.0.0 with server repository. Help!
