After 3 years... I'm using jasperreports 5.6.0 and Hibernate 4.1.6 and looks like I have still same problem. Is there any solution without changing jasperreports source code?

Hello. I'm trying to compile my web app with report created in designer as *.jrxml file, using hibernate connection, but I'm occuring an error - NoSuchFieldError: BOOLEAN. I found sth like this - there is my problem described - http://community.jaspersoft.com/questions/536345/jasperreports-376-and-hibernate-36-errors but it's about version 3.7 of jasperreports and I don't want to recompile jasperreports source files, cause I'm warried if someone of my teammates won't upgrade libraries once in the future... How is it possible that if class BOOLEAN is not up since Hibernate 3.6 version, we have that issue still in newest version of jasperreports? Maybe someone have a solution? I will be very thankfull.

Hello. I'm working on one report which can be downloaded via web app as pdf or xls file. I'm using in this report xls formula to count sth. Ofcourse when it's exported to pdf file there is no possibility that pdf will count itselfs this value from xls formula. So, there is my question, is there any way to automaticly convert formula into counted static value when report is exported to pdf? Or maybe creating 2 fields, one with formula and second with already counted value, where one field or another is hidden depends on what kind of export did we choose?

ok solved... I had installed only jre 8.5, after installing java 7.55 - works fine.

I have installed iReport Designer in version 5.5.1. When i'm launching this app appears small blue screen iReport with info about loading etc, and that's all, disappears and nothing happens, without errors. Can anyone help me, or tell where should I search any logs or sth. Thanks.
