Hi all, I am still learning to use Jaspersoft Studio, and I am having bit of trouble creating table using Excel spreadsheet as data. At this point, I would like to know how to diagnose the issue. So, going onto specific...I installed the software on Linux, have pretty much followed through the guideline for creating table, using the excel spreadsheet as source data. When I preview the report, I see no table at all. Hence, not really sure what I am doing wrong. If anyone could provide me with some hints on how to deal with this issue, that would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Hi all, I am interested in experimenting with Jaspersoft Studio, and I am currently trying to install the Jaspersoft Server locally. From reading the installation manual, I am aware that there are options where the users can choose to install specific components of the server. I would like to know specifically how I would go about knowing whether Apache Tomcat has already been installed in the local machine, so that I could decide on whether to installed the bundled Tomcat or not.
