  1. The answer is the report designer uses the table names behind the scenes so if you're pulling from different tables with the same field name multiselects do NOT appear. The work around is to modify the domain and alias the table name... I named them both TABLE since I'm so creative. This allows me to trigger changes on multiple reports in a dhasboard with a single update value. I can also add criteria that are specific to one report or another. Hoping to get more support on the other questions I posted and to not have to solve all my issues myself. Not off to a good start.
  2. I get this... where I have to click on a box to update filters... nothing on the report itself.
  3. Yeah, I agree that's how it's supposed to work but it isn't. I have a single filter on both reports that is the exact same field name and I get them both in the single input and nothing in multi.
  4. I'm saying that I create an ad hoc report... all looks great. I save it as a report and the parameters I see on the report look dumbed down compared to wwhat's shown on any of the report presentations I've seen online.
  5. Why don't the input control values look in my dashbaord the way the do in the Dashboard tutorial?
  6. I'd like to save some work. If I have 5 tennats who all need the same report but with THEIR data can a single report know to pull from the domain of the tenant (assuming it's named the same)?
  7. In my ad-hoc view I have a "is one of" and that somehow translates to a between in the related report... am I doing something wrong? I'm working in JasperServer
  8. In presentations the filter criteria appears in the report as it does in the ad-hov view design but I am not seeing that in the generated report. What am I doing wrong? I'm working in JasperServer
  9. I have the same filters on two reports and they bot appear in the single report controls which does me no good as you have to update them independently. I want to change the value and have both reports update as so nicely shown in all the demonstrations. Please help. I'm working in JasperServer
