  1. If I stop my aws ec2 instance will I lose the reports definitions from the jaspersoft server? i want to shut it down during quiet periods, then fire it back up afterwards, I'm just not sure how the domains, data sources etc are persisted....
  2. Have a look at Jaspersoft AWS ssh connection to mysql - one of the staff answered my question there. You need to go to a terminal prompt, then use ssh to establish a local port that is tunnelled through to a remote port. then set the local data source on to that local port for JDBC. He refers to http://community.jaspersoft.com/jaspersoft-aws/connect-emr option #2.

  4. Hi i've just provisioned a jaspersoft was using a cloud formation template as per instructions on the site i am now trying to create a data source that connects to mysql using ssh. The ui doesn't have any options for that can anybody help? cheers mark
