Thanks for your reply . I mentioned as list componenent and i am using dataset to get the elements from javaBeanDataSource. sbut answer have only sum of colunms and not suit for list and dataset. can you please more elabarate i need to make the dataset veriable as global veriable then only i can do this but how can get the visibility of a veriable in dataset to global veriable. HI Thanks for your reply, i need multiple colours at a time 7 colours i am using a frame in detail section that same fram has to display 7 pdf pages with diff colours at the movement i have hard coded colours and 7 times i have using the frame each fram i applied unique but all frame have same content so which is in correct.

Hi Hozawa, I am using 2nd List but that list is displaying the all list values i need only total of the clounm in the list could you pls explain more brief please. Thanks

I have a requirement like display the content in detail section with multiple colours and i am using java bean datasource maximum 8 colours each record contain a single report A4 size (entire report in detail section)and the same report has to display 7 pdf pages with diff colours i would appricate if your helpp in advance.

I am using a list component to display the list values, list may have 1 or more or null or n number of records i restricted to 8 records max to display i need to display the total of the list for a particular column at bottom means 9 th row Anybody can help me? Thanks in advance
