I was able to get it working. by following the above article step by step.

I'm currently running an instance of Jaspersoft Reporting and Analytics for AWS (Hourly) and I'm attaching to an instance of MonoDB also hosted on an EC2 machine. I'm able to make reports using the desktop version of iReport and import them to my instance of jaspersoft on AWS. I'm running into a lot of issues when I'm trying to create an ad-hoc report on AWS. My understanding is that I need to create a Topic in iReport and upload it to my AWS instance of jaspersoft. I'm gone as far as creating a simple report as a jsXML file. I've uploaded this jrXML file onto the server but I still can't find any place to upload the topix so other users can start to create ad hoc reports. Basically I'm asking how do I enable ad hoc reporting on AWS with a mongo backend. Thanks !
