  1. https://d2553lapexsdrl.cloudfront.net/sites/default/files/files/saleforce%20driver%205_1_4.zip times out. The other article talking about connecting to Salesforce (https://community.jaspersoft.com/wiki/customer-demo-reporting-salesforce-directly-tibco-jasperreports-server) mentions the Salesforce Driver being an out-of-the-box feature which is inaccurate.
  2. Has this been removed? I don't have Salesforce in the list of JDBC drivers in v7.1.0.
  3. I've got a report that depends on data from input controls but those input controls are only shown for the admin. When I change to a user account, the report opens and displays "You must apply input values before the report can be displayed." without ever showing the input controls. When I click the button the window opens but it doesn't have any controls in it. I changed permissions on the folder to "Administer" for user accounts but it still only works for the admin. Any ideas? There's no error message or anything. It just works with the admin and doesn't with the user. Update: Apparently this has something to do with a link to a JAR file with a font extension for PDF. If I remove the link the input controls are being displayed again. As soon as I add the link (and thus enable PDF exporting with the correct font) the input controls are gone. Can anybody explain this? SOLUTION: The JAR I was linking to was in a directory only accessible by admins. I added that JAR to the actual Report Unit and it fixed the problem. Not sure why a font could affect input controls or why it's impossible to give proper user feedback, but you know, it's Jasper.
  4. So, I've got this report on our Jasper Server (6.2.0) which is supposed to get a new logo. Here's what I do: In Jaspersoft Studio I open the report directly from the server. I change the logo and save the file. When Studio asks if I want to upload to the server I choose "Yes". I click through the wizard without changing anything. I click "Finish" in the wizard"Exception, if you want so see more information look into details Reason:"The Stacktrace shows: java.lang.NullPointerExceptionat com.jaspersoft.studio.server.publish.Publish.updSelectedResources(Publish.java:267)at com.jaspersoft.studio.server.publish.Publish.publishResources(Publish.java:124)at com.jaspersoft.studio.server.publish.Publish.publish(Publish.java:67)at com.jaspersoft.studio.server.publish.wizard.Publish2ServerWizard$3.run(Publish2ServerWizard.java:302)at org.eclipse.jface.operation.ModalContext$ModalContextThread.run(ModalContext.java:119) Even if I just open and save the file without changing a thing, I get the same error message. The report works fine both on the server and in Studio. The source does not have "null", """" (empty string with double quotes) or "''" (empty string with single quotes) in it. Anyone got any ideas as to what is set to null exactly? The error message doesn't help at all.
  5. So you gotta *disable* the font size fix in order for font sizes to be fixed... This is just great.
  6. "Just look at the samples" is not really a great way of documenting a non-standard "feature". Nowhere is this mentioned in any of the documentation files.
  7. While there are a lot of links to "getting started" with Visualize.js, they all seem to point to some Youtube videos. Is there any written documentation for Visualize.js? You can't really search for a specific word or phrase in a video.
  8. Hi, I've got this report that works perfectly in Jaspersoft Studio but as soon as I upload it, the server gives me this error message: Does anyone have any pointers as to what could cause the problem? Or where I could find what that "Value '' " is? Thanks for any info!
