Hi, I was trying to find jasperserver-*.jar maven dependencies on that i found this link, but i am still not able to find maven depnedencies for jasperserver*.jar for 5.x version. Could you please suggest the maven dependencies for jasperserver*.jar binaries. Regards, Anupam.

somebody please help looks like a general issue. people might have faced it. -
I am using windows 7 and office 2013 and IE 9 when i run report and try to export it to excel, windows security pop-up open up. I can cancel it and report open up but it is not a good exp for user, do you know how to turn off this popup box without doing anything on windows platform(as it is not possible to do it for each client machine). It only happends on IE, if i use any other browser firefox, chrome it open up grancefully. In case of IE i get this ugly window security popup and it is no security as if you cancel that report opens up ok. Regards, Anupam.

As jasperStudio is eclipse based there is a eclipe plugin available Jaspersoft studio - http://jasperstudio.sourceforge.net/updates/

I was wrong. It does it page by page and as soon as first page is generated, it is ready at the frontend and engine continues to process further pages. That way it is very responsive and it boils down to query how fast is it running.

I am using jasper reprots server (html format) to display report in my webapplication and this report is bringing in 100,000 records. We have pagination available on top to the viewReport.jsp but i report is filling first with 100,000 records and then in html only displaying first 20 records which it can fit into first page as per report layout(we are using table element). It is taking a lot of time, what can be done to improve the responsiveness in this scenario and configure jasper pagination to just get first 20 records from DB instead of all the records and at the same time when we use option to export it to PDF, Excel it should run the whole query and render report using all the 100,000 records. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Nrq, I am facing the same issue and couldn't figure out the config you mentioned. I know it is and old post but could you please help me with the answer where to make the change and which config document you came across.
