  3. Most of my problems about input controls and parameters in query were for names and IDs, notice that if you are using a query repository, defaults values in parameters does not take effect if no input control with the same ID is present. Always pass null to query in this case. In my jasperserver.log date's format are the same in yours and works fine. Regards, Mariano
  4. In jasperserver.log always has date parameters in this format. Be sure that parameter and Input Control ID are exactly equals and look for the locale settings, probably will be the problem. Regards, Mariano
  5. Jaspersoft Studio 5.5.1 does not save password in Data Adapters neither Servers Repository Connections I have been working with iReport Designer 5.5.0 without problems, I begin to use Jaspersoft Studio 5.5.1 to change my design tool. If a i add new Data Adapter and test the connection everything is allright but when close de window an reopen when test the connection does not work. If i open a JRXML file and edit the SELECT sentence when select the data adapter cannot read the fields of the query. Also when add a server repository connector never can test, giving me the following error: org.apache.http.client.HttpResponseException: No Encontrado at com.jaspersoft.studio.server.protocol.restv2.RESTv2ExceptionHandler.handleException(RESTv2ExceptionHandler.java:65) at com.jaspersoft.studio.server.protocol.restv2.ARestV2ConnectionJersey.toObj(ARestV2ConnectionJersey.java:35) at com.jaspersoft.studio.server.protocol.restv2.RestV2ConnectionJersey.getServerInfo(RestV2ConnectionJersey.java:108) at com.jaspersoft.studio.server.protocol.restv2.RestV2ConnectionJersey.connect(RestV2ConnectionJersey.java:99) at com.jaspersoft.studio.server.protocol.ProxyConnection.connect(ProxyConnection.java:61) at com.jaspersoft.studio.server.WSClientHelper.checkConnection(WSClientHelper.java:85) at com.jaspersoft.studio.server.wizard.ServerProfileWizard.connect(ServerProfileWizard.java:101) at com.jaspersoft.studio.server.wizard.ServerProfileWizard.access$1(ServerProfileWizard.java:97) at com.jaspersoft.studio.server.wizard.ServerProfileWizard$2.run(ServerProfileWizard.java:78) at org.eclipse.jface.operation.ModalContext$ModalContextThread.run(ModalContext.java:121) I haven't found anything like this issue in forums. Is this a bug ? Thank you for your support. Regards, Mariano
  6. Hi all, I have a problem with cascade input controls, dependants input control only initilize once at beginnig. My Report Unit has two three input controls: IC_GEN_FECHA_INGRESO: java.util.Date -> with new Date() IC_GEN_FECHA_INICIO_OCULTO: java.util.Date -> $P{IC_GEN_FECHA_INGRESO} IC_GEN_FECHA_FIN_OCULTO: java.util.Date -> org.apache.commons.lang3.time.DateUtils.addDays( $P{IC_GEN_FECHA_INGRESO}, 2) IC_GEN_FECHA_INICIO_OCULTO and IC_GEN_FECHA_FIN_OCULTO parameters are not visible input controls. When I open my report unit only update both cascade parameters with current date of new Date()'s first parameter. If I change de IC_GEN_FECHA_INGRESO parameter value never update the others. This parmater is before the others on in parameters order. I am working with Jasper Server 5.5. I've been searching in forum but not found a problem exactly like this and i am very lost. Thanks to all, Mariano
  7. Hi all, I'd like to configure the jaserserver 5.5.0 in linux server with jdk 7 for defaults formats for date and timestamps values for all reports. I mean, if no pattern set for a text field, de default format must act. I follow the instructions in Administrator Guide PDF and query about two days in this forum and the rest of internet. Modified the file: jasperreports-server-cp-5.5.0/apache-tomcat/webapps/jasperserver/WEB-INF/bundles/jasperserver_config_es.properties with this content: # Used for parsing and formatting dates by server date.format=dd/MM/yyyy datetime.format=dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss time.format=HH:mm:ss # Used for parsing and formatting dates by calendar component (UI). # Pattern for date should match appropriated pattern from server properties. # The format for calendar component can be combinations of the following: # d - day of month (no leading zero) # dd - day of month (two digit) # o - day of year (no leading zeros) # oo - day of year (three digit) # D - day name short # DD - day name long # m - month of year (no leading zero) # mm - month of year (two digit) # M - month name short # MM - month name long # y - year (two digit) # yy - year (four digit) calendar.date.format=dd/mm/yy calendar.datetime.format=dd/mm/yy HH:mm:ss calendar.time.format=HH:mm:ss # Current calendar component supports only patterns with time after date ("hh:mm M dd, yy" will not work) # The datetime component is configured by calendar.date.format and calendar.time.format calendar.datetime.separator=u0020 # Additional validation of dates in AdHoc filter and other parts of UI validation.date.pattern=/^\d{2}-\d{2}-\d{4}$/ validation.datetime.pattern=/^\d{2}-\d{2}-\d{4}\s\d{2}:\d{2}:\d{2}$/ validation.time.pattern=/^\d{2}:\d{2}:\d{2}$/ report.scheduling.output.format.1=pdf report.scheduling.output.format.2=html report.scheduling.output.format.3=xls report.scheduling.output.format.4=rtf report.scheduling.output.format.5=csv report.scheduling.output.format.6=odt report.scheduling.output.format.7=txt report.scheduling.output.format.8=docx report.scheduling.output.format.9=ods report.scheduling.output.format.10=xlsx # The substitution value being used in password input forms avoiding the real password appears in HTML input.password.substitution=~value~subst~ Whe I use a textfield with a java.sql.Timestamp field always display in dd/MM/yy HH:mm format, even modifying the file: jasperreports-server-cp-5.5.0/apache-tomcat/webapps/jasperserver/WEB-INF/bundles/jasperserver_config.properties Always display in dd/MM/yy HH:mm format The $P{REPORT_LOCALE} parameter is 'es_ES', so I have created a file named: jasperreports-server-cp-5.5.0/apache-tomcat/webapps/jasperserver/WEB-INF/bundles/jasperserver_config_es_ES.properties But nothing works I have tried the Expression Class's Text field with String, java.sql.Timestamp, ... nothing. Please I need help, Regards
