We are currently looking at how best to develop a hosted monitoring solution for industry energy and process monitoring and optimisation. We need the support of a UK based contractor to help us understand the capability of Jasperreports better and to help us get the initial solution offering off the ground. We are a small business based in West London, so want to do this on a low cost base as much as possible. If you are the person to help us or know anyone who might be able to then I'd really appreciate being linked up. Our current solution involves: An industrial Data Historian (the main database)Energy metering collection tools (on-site)Reporting via a single web based BI solutionDetailed statistical data analysis via a separate package? We want to have a demonstration version up online before Xmas. Its not clear to me if the Jasperreports suite can support all of this, and if this can be done in a way that we regards as cost effective. For example, can the dashboard capability be bought as an add-on, and what is the pricing structure for the commercial editions? I'm currently taking your advice to contact a couple of contractors with JR experience, however in the meantime it would be really helpful to understand the product better. Thanks in advance Will
