  1. Is there a way to add custom/personal folder for each logged in user in Jasper 7.2 server. Current version of Jasper Server did not provide a custom/personal folder. We would like to create a personal folder for each user so that we could use the same to share the scheduled report specific to them.
  2. Any idea how we can use a different user for postgres rather than postgres. I was trying to use a existing database but its by default going to postgres user where we have set no password. postgres is the default user so we do not want to use it.
  3. Jasper Server EnterPrise 7.1.0 throwing an error while creating a new Datasource. Saying 'There was an error on the server. Try again or contact site administrators. (Error UID: ad4fa07e-32d4-44bd-a181-2c6e64d8dc21)'. Tried validate the new Datasource against the existing Datasources which comes with Trial version found the same issue. Just to add its not adding any kind of log against this error. I was trying to create a Datasource against the PgSQL DB.
  4. Currently we are evaluating Jasper Server 7.1. We have a reporting solution on SpagoBI with having around 500 different types of jrxml format and we want to move all of those to jasper server with less modification. The date formats which we used in Spago is MM-DD-YYYY. But it looks Jasper Server is accepting only YYYY-MM-DD date formats. Is there any way we can make it to MM-DD-YYYY instead of YYYY-MM-DD. We tried modifying the configuration file Jaspersoftjasperreports-server-cp-7.1.0apache-tomcatwebappsjasperserverWEB-INFbundlesjasperserver_config.properties with below but no luck. # Used for parsing and formatting dates by server date.format=MM/dd/yyyy datetime.format=MM/dd/yyyy HH:mm:ss time.format=HH:mm:ss calendar.date.format=mm/dd/yy calendar.datetime.format=mm/dd/yy HH:mm:ss calendar.time.format=HH:mm:ss repository.date.format=M/d/yyyy repository.current.year.date.format=MMMMM d repository.datetime.format=M/d/yyyy hh:mmaaa repository.time.format=hh:mmaaa
  5. Here is a sample chart. /sites/default/files/user_uploads/djohnson53/mpqbo.png
  6. We are facing a issue where the jasper chart labels are getting corupted. Only the levels(Chart axis, Value Axis, Item labels , Title, Sub Title etc). The reports are running on top of Tomcat 7 and JDK 1.8 (jdk1.8.0_91, jdk1.8.0_131). We tried downgrading Java but no luck. It runs well on Jasper Studio(6.2) and other server setup with same configuration as this box. Can someone please help on this.
  7. How to query mongodb from jasper where the authentication db seats separate from the query database. I'm able to connect the mongodb by providing the connection string having the authentication db name like something mongodb://etlwfm:w0rk_3tlQA@*.*.*.*,*1.*1.*1.*1,*2.*2.*2.*2/admin?replicaSet=rs0 I could verify the connection was successful. But while providing the query it never return any results. The DB which I wants to fetch data from is wfm_dev. But looks the query assumes the data resides in admin db only. Is there any way I can mention the database name from which I would like to fetch the data from.
  8. So that means if I have multiple date columns then I need to convert all those columns individually. I thought of we can use the default parameter REPORT_TIME_ZONE to set the user passed timezone once at the top of the report.
  9. Could someone please help me out on printing data as per user timezone. We have a scenario where the user will pass the timezone and based upon that the value should return. I found the way to modify the date parameters as per user passed time zone and get the resule from databse. But after that how should I write the data in there time zone. Do I need to convert individual date columns to be printed on there time zone or any other way is there to convert once as per there time zone and print all values. Let me tell you we trying to implement this on existing reports, so we are looking for a process for least changes.
  10. Hi Bob, Did this issue got fixed or still this limitation does exists. I was looking to add three measures in a report but not found any link on the forum. Siladitya
