  1. I took a look at the page that you suggested, but there is no mention of anything in regards to back slashes. I also looked up hibernate configurations and was not able to find anything in regards to this particular situation.
  2. I created a user with the following structure, etwonjames.edgar But when I go to manage the user I get the error, Cannot find user with username : etwonjames.edgar Also, when I try to login with the username I get the following error. Details: Could not execute JDBC batch update; SQL [insert into JIUser (username, tenantId, fullname, emailAddress, password, externallyDefined, enabled, previousPasswordChangeTime, id) values (?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?)]; constraint [null]; nested exception is org.hibernate.exception.ConstraintViolationException: Could not execute JDBC batch update Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
