  1. Were you able to find an answer to this. I would like to do something similar and have a similar post out there, but not getting any responses, which probably means it can't be done. Did you find a way to do this?
  2. Hi, Anyone know how to do this? The Linear Gauge control in Widgets Pro for instance has an "Edit Mode" you can select. In Edit Mode, you can move the pointer on the scale to a different value, which is a pretty slick experience. Is it possible to regenerate a table, or map, or something else based on the change made to the Linear Gauge? If so, any information you could share on how this can be done is greatly appreciated. I am thinking there must be a way, otherwise the "Edit Mode" thing is totally useless, no? Thanks for your help! Raj
  3. Hello, I have use case where I would like to control what is displayed on a map using a linear gauge (in edit mode) from Maps Pro and Widgets Pro. In other words, when I change the value on the linear gauge, I would like the values on the map to change. I know I can probably do this by refreshing the whole report. However, I was wondering if there was a better AJAX like way of doing this using iReports Designer and Jaspersoft Reports server. There are other tables and the such on the page, I have no need to refresh. I am guessing the answer to this is probably no, based on what I know of Jasper so far. However, I would like to do my due diligence and ask? Please let me know if there is a way to do this. How cool would this be? It would be even cooler if I could change the values on the map as the pointer on the linear gauge was changing. Thanks in advance.
  4. Not sure there is a question here? I use subreports and am pulling data from MongoDB, what is your question exactly?
  5. Yeah, I figured this out. It works just fine when you put it in Summary, etc. Thanks for the reply, I should have updated this. Raj
  6. I am fairly new to Jasper Reports and recently downloaded the iReports Pro version with HTML 5 charts. I am seeing some very odd behavior and am stumped on how to address it. Therefore, I would really appreciate any assitance, or ideas anyone may have. I am trying to use the HTML 5 bar chart, but am seeing a new chart get generated for each of my data points, which makes No sense. Obviously, the behavior should be all the data points going into a single chart. My dataset is from MongoDB and returning two fields an $F{_id} and a $F{number_of_items} I am returning three rows for my query with these two fields. E.g. Item 1: _id = 1, number_of_items = 50 Item 2: _id = 2, number_of_items = 10 Item 3:_id = 3, number_of_items = 13 So for each of these it is generating a unqiue bar chart. Therefore, I am getting 3 charts, which is just so weird. Please let me know if you have any ideas. Attached is the JRXML file.
