Thanks Ankur! This worked - for newbs who may be interested - this is whats implied! "Count:"+ $V{REPORT_COUNT}

I understand because of the SAX way of generating reports - we dont really get access to this variable $V{REPORT_COUNT} in Header until the entire report has done generating - effectively preventing us from using this in the header. However, does anyone know of any other way I could use or trick JASPER to give me the total (which varies) count of the report rows in the header?
