Hi All, I have created a time series chart, but the problem is when i preview it, it says, "Document is Empty". Whereas when i execute my DataSet, it gives me a complete data. On execution, the report alos does not give any errors. Why is it so that in my report, there is no data appearing? Thanks.

Hi All, I have installed Jasper server and would to play around with Jasper sample report. As far as running the report on the server is concerned, it works fine. When I goto roots->Reports->Samples and run any report like 'Standard Chrats Report' it works fine. Now what i want to do is to actually check the sources of these report, i want to study the design/properties/configuration of these reports but I could open them anywhere? On my browsing the Jasper server directory "jasperreports-server-cp-5.0.0samplesreports", I found some sample report at the aformentioned location. These report are not the same as shown on the server "roots->Reports->Samples" page, but these report also are good to study. I can open these reports on my Jasper Studio 2.0.0. Now the problem here is that these reports are giving me error on execution. The problem is with the already configured Datasources. So my question is how can i configure the DS used in these reports? Are these reports using " postgresql or HSQLDB test" DB bundled with jasper server and if so how can I configure it and test the connection? I could see on the jasper server the Data sources under root->Data Source->JServer JDBC Datasource->jdbc:postgresql://127.0.0.1:5432/sugarcrm, but then i don't what the saved password there is and secondly, if this is the same DS used by the sample reports "jasperreports-server-cp-5.0.0samplesreports"? So in short, it would be kind of you if you could help me out identifying the DS used in these reports and secondly where are the jasper server sample reports located? Thanks.

Hi Jaspersoft Studio Team, I am trying to make a simple report using the cheatsheet, but it seems to give me troubles. The simple report using Sample DB works ok, but when i added the Bar chart into it according to the steps explained in the step-by-step cheatsheet, it didn't work! The data on the report appears ok, but on the very last page (summary panel), it just shows a squared box with city name in dots and that's it. No barchart is appearing properly. So my main question is how can I help myself preparing few reports, which are making use of Charts? Are there any examples, which i can load and play around with? It would be highlly appreciated, if you could redirect me to some tutorials explaining reports with some charts included. I am using Jaspersoft Studio 2.0.0. Thanks.
