error when installing jasper report server 9.0.0 version

Hi @john jairo, seems like a Java version issue. Maybe the install script is picking up Java 17 from the environment variable. Installer script don't support Java 17 yet, only war deployment. -
Hi @Toe San, could be multiple reasons: outdated or incompatible jasperreports library (upgrade may help) Headless mode issue -Djava.awt.headless=true in the startup script or the vm options missing system fonts (try installing ttf-dejavu)

Hi @ursus, try to take the main report and put it as a subreport inside a master report (wrapper) that is the landscape mode and has columnCount=2. -

Hi l.falcioni, I would be glad to assist with your issue. But, it seems we didn't get to the JRS specific steps, because the PostgresSQL database caused the error. Without the steps you performed and the version of the PostgresSQL I won't be able to help you. Please try a different PostgresSQL version. Check out this https://www.postgresql.org/docs/8.2/supported-platforms.html and see the compatibility.

Hello gowri, please give us details about version of JRS and error text if any. In the Browser goto Developer Tools > Console/JavaScript Console and copy logged errors during that action.
