I have been using JasperReports for more than 5 years and I have recently faced with a problem with viewing embedded rich text(HTML) content in reports. I have used text field which can't render images and tables, I have tried HTML component which causes a problem with HTML content more than one page size. I have searched through many questions for the same problem and I want to solve this problem by splitting the generated HTML image or content to multiple page in HTML Component, I am not sure where to start. If there is a simple example for large image splitting, or any other component split mechanism in multiple pages than I am eager to look through them to find the solution for this problem. And also is this solution feasible?

Have you found any answers for this problem? I am eager to implement the solution but I need a starting point. Is splitting html image to different detail bands feasible?
