    Hi Requirement : Fusion chart not rendering properly in jasperserver 4.7 in IE(version 8) browser. Description: i am using jasperserver 4.7 to render jasper reports , when i am trying to render report that has only simple map inside summary band in IE(version 8) then it is not rendering properly , same report renders perfectly in IE(version 9) and chrome , so if someone facing the same issue and already resolved this then kindly share the solution.

    Hi i am using ireport 5.0 to develop jasper report and jasperserver 5.0 as run-time environment to render reports , i came across issue where when i am rendering both chart and table in single report chart refreshes twice, i kept both chart and table inside summary band , for chart i am using main dataset and for table i am using subdataset , when no of rows in tables are more in numbers table gets splits in two pages and every time when we apply report parameter then chart inside refreshes twice , if i ignore pagination and shows all the data on single page then chart doesn't refreshes twice , but with pagination i am facing problem if someone came across this issue then let us know solution , tanks in advance.

    Hi i am using ireport 5 and recently i came acrooss requirement where i want calculated variable from dataset used in chart to pass to main report without using subreport , so if anybudy have any idea then how to get dataset variable to main report.

    While developing dashboard we came across requirement where we wanted to add a button(HTML button) as input control(single value input control) , according to current behavior jasperserver is providing textbox and dropdown for single value input control. For e.g. there will be four buttons each setting one input value for reports within dashboard like ”Yearly”,”Monthly”,”Weekly”,”Daily” when we select “Yearly” button all dashboard reports should take yearly as input parameter and when we select “Monthly” button all the dashboard reports should take monthly as input parameter

    Hi i am using jasperserver 5.0 and as a part of internationalization activity we need to support english and arabic locale for jasperserver , translation and unicode geneartion for arabic is time cosuming job ,so if someone already did that then they can share all the arabic resource bundle(*_ar.proprties) files with me irrespective of version , even if some properties are missing(which are new in 5.0 version) its fine. any help is highly appreciable , waiting for positive reply.

    Hi i am using jasperserver 5.0 , my requirement is to hide the menu based on boolean condition , when i checked actionModel-navigation.xml file i came to know we can add boolean condtion(by means of boolean methos) to hide menu. i have to implement the same , i have boolean method , but i dont know where to keep that boolean method , if someone knows where to keep that boolean method it will be helpful me to preceed. i tried placing boolean method inside decorator.jsp and condition tag with test attribute value as boolean method name in actionModel-navigation.xml file , but it didnt picked that. any help is highly appreciable.

    How to add custom condition to hide the link after role validation passes, if someone wants to hide some menu link for french(selected) locale which are visible for english locale then where to add boolean method(which we assigned to test attribute of condition tag)?

    Hi i am using jasperserver 5.0 and i am new to jasperserver , my requirement is to hide or show menu links based on custom condition(boolean check) , For e.g condition = checkAuthenticationRoles ,ROLE_ADMINISTRATOR in this "checkAuthenticationRoles" method signifies those having administrator role can see the link , for others this link may not be visible. i wanted to know where checkAuthenticationRoles method defined(in java class /jsp) ? ,so that i will implement my own boolean conditional check for the same.

    Hi i am using (ireport 5.0 , japserserver 5.0) to develope jasper reports , my requirement is to use different domain in single jasper (domain)report based on i/p parameter. For e.g if i want same report should give me count of fruits from fruits table if i supply fruit as i/p parameter and count of vegetables from vegetable table if i supply vegetable as i/p parameter and i am trying to achieve this using two different domain defined in jsperserver. problm is jasperserver not replacing "ireport.domainUri "value at run time based on i/p parameter , so if someone knows better option to achive the same using domain report kindly help me

    thanks for quick response , i wanted to know whether jasperserver is keeping any variable in session or context for selected locale so that i can use to conditionally hide/show not only links other UI stuffs also , i am just thinking in one direction to address this problem , there may be easy ways to achieve this
