Hi, I am trying to access user profile attribute in Jasper Report (jrxml) by defining a parameter with name "LoggedInUser" and type "com.jaspersoft.jasperserver.api.metadata.user.domain.User" where default expression value is empty. Then I defined a new parameter to access the profile attribute via LoggedInUser parameter. But it seems jasperserver is not setting LoggedInUser object at all. I even tried to access only the username via $P{LoggedInUser}.getUsername() but even it does not woked for me. Please help me out. Regards, Noor

Hi, Can anyone suggest that what will be the best approach to expose report datasource data from jasper server to thin clients like iphone. We have seen the iphone application but we want to develop a custom iphone application to display interactive charts. Is there any way we can access the data provided to a report data outside from jasper server, preferably exposing that report datasource from rest services so that we can develop our custom chart. Hi, I am trying to give access to "Time" item group only to the users which have "ROLE_ADMINISTRATOR" role. Where as jasper server is completely hiding the "Time" item group even from the users who have ROLE_ADMINISTRATOR privileges. I have attached both the security file and domain schema file along with this question for more detail analysis. Note: JasperReport Server version is 5.0. Please help me out. Thanks, Noor
