Hi jasper lovers....!!!! Os : Windows 7 Installed : jasperreports-server-cp-5.0.0-windows-x64-installer.exe Problem : Installation went successfully . No port number has been changed while installation goes. i.e, used 8080. No other servers are using same port numbers in the machine. All the other servers like mySQL,Pentaho tomcat server services has been stoped. Postgres is installed with bundeled. Now, the jasper server is coming but very very slowly... It is taking a min of 30 minutes to 45 minutes to start the server ? What's the problem ? Where do I need to make changes ? Tried with changing port numbers(start up and shut down port numbers) manually in all the required .xml files.. but no affect I could not see. Your replay would be taken as high priority :) :) Thanks in Advance :) :)

Hurryyyy...!!!! Got the solution for it... We have measures option for doing this. Add the measure which you want display. i.e, we can show more than one measure using cross tab. Just go on cross tab->expand it->find measures-> right click on it and add measure. drag and drop the created measure next to already defined measure. We will not create any more fields like adding the column but we share the field by expanding it. Then we place the required measure. Thanks Forum :)

Hello folks...!!!! I have a table having fields A, B,C,D,E and F. Requirement: I have to use multi select list of values parameter.. which we generally hard code. name value first A selecod B third C foruth D and etc. Where A , B, C, D and etc are the column names in the table. What ever input control I select I have to display those columns only in the tabular report ? For eg: lets say If we select A, B then we have to show only A, B columns in the tabular comonent. For eg: if we select C,D,F then we have to display only C,D,F columns(fields) in the tabular component. It's an urgent need.. Relply would highly taken into consideration. Thanks in Advance :)

Hii.. In cross tab report... Parameter : Multi select list values : lets say A B C If I select A I have to show some text field in the cross tab? If I select A and B (i.e, more than one) I have to hide that text field in cross tab... How to achive this ? Thanks in Advance :) :)

Hiiii.... Jasperssss..!!!! Scenario : I've connected to "xyz" server(Not the local machine) in the iReport in RepositoryNavigator and created a folder named Reports. I've uploaded some reports(lets say 4 reports) to that folder. Now I want to take backup of that folder ? How can I take back up ? Does export command works with other server in local command prompt ? Replay would be a great help. Thanks in Advance :)

Hi guys....!!! Created a report with two sub reports. Main Report: It conisists of two sub reports and some text.(i.e, calling sub reports from this report) Sub Reports: Consists of group headers(2 groups) each. In each group using "Static Text" lables and putting some text and making the "size" of the lable as "Adapt to parent width" Page orientation for Main and Sub reports is : LandScape Margins for Main and Sub reports are : Left=20, Right=20, top=20 and bottom=20 The report is published to the Jasper Server Question: View of Out put in Jasper Server : Well and fine. Now, when exporting to .docx and or pdf the right most text is not coming up properly. The right most text is missing when exporting to either .docx or .pdf Need your help urgently. Hi guys....!!!! Designed cross tab with x as rows months(a,b,c,d) as columns and sum as measure Now I wanna display percentage as another measure in the cross tab .. How to dispaly percentage as a 2nd measure in the cross tab ? Thanks in Advance :) :) :)
