Hi all, can i use parameter of the report or input control for the file name in the JasperServer Scheduling? The Report is created every day in the morning, but the data in the report depends on a different date (about one week before creation) as creation. Thanks in advance, pentaloc

Hello all, I want that a text field is printed when the return value (column count) is bigger than 0. The subreport and the text field are in the same band. How can i do this? I tried different evaluation times, but nothing works :/ Thank you in advance!

I have solved my problem after a long time of trying :D For everyone who have the same problem and need some help here is my solution: 1. I wrote a java class with eclipse (see the code) 2. Exported this as a .jar file 3. Add this jar under options -> classpath 4. Change the propertie of the selected bar chart -> Customizer Class -> CustomizeBarChart 5. Finish Solution for usage with jasperserver: 1. I have to replace the java folder in the jasperresports folder with the jdk i`m using with eclipse (okay, i could change the java_home in the .bat files, but this dosen`t worked fine for me..) 2. Add the jar "CustomizeMe.jar" as resources to the report 3. If the customizer class is already added you are finished :) I hope this helps someone and sorry for my bad english ;D Code:

But how can I add this code to the customizer class? Should I write this code into a java class and then copy this to the report? Okay...you see i´m a newbie :D

Good Morning :) I have a problem with my Bar Chart. As you can see on my attached file, the gap between the several Bars is to small to get a good overview. Can i change this gap with the chart customizer? Unfortunately i found nothing ;( Thank you in advance! :) pentaLoc

Hi, I want to create a bar chart to compare two different years. There is only one sql query and one year parameter ($P{year}) because I think only one Dataset can be used for a chart. (If not I would use two datasets with two different year parameter…) Here is my category series for the current year: Series expression: $P{year} Category exp: $F{year}.compareTo($P{year})?$F{month}:"nothing" Value expression: ${sales} It works fine and I get all the right bars but there is one bar with the label “nothing” and the value of a other year. Hi, I'm a student and have to create Dashboards after extracting some Data with my Data Integration Tool from TOS. A other student used the iReport tool to create some Reports, but can i also create with it some Dashboards (equal to the Pentah BI Server)? At the Homepage of Jasper i read that i have to purchase the commercial Edition to use the Dashboard function. Is that right? Thank you in advance :)
