I'm getting same error. Only way I can resolve it is change the render "Theme" of my charts to something like "Aegean" or the like. -

ou can most definately use aggregate functions. What you need to to is to add the SUM or whatever function you need to the applicationContext-semanticLayer.xml. Add an 'entry' in 'defaultSQLGenerator' with the function you would like to use and, then use it in the domain designer for a calculated field -

Parameters in Derived Table Query of a Domain in Jasperserver

Anyone able to help with this? I also need some kind of clean solution for this. I need to set up a derived table that returns the results of an aggregation (Latest effective date for a date range). But I need this aggregated resultset to process the "latest" information based on a date parameter. Please help -
