Hi.... I am exploring JASPER Reports for making the reports. With the Help of JasperForge Site and Forums, now i am feeling comfortable in making the reports using JasperReports and also deploying them in the JasperServer. Now i want a help from you people to " Integrate the reports in PHP or Zend Framework " . SqlServer connection problem in JasperServer

hello .. i did it but still connection failed is coming in the jasperserver. so please help me out from that. -
i am facing problem in the connection of sqlserver in jasperserver. I am using sqlserver 2008. In the data source part of Jasper Server , i have given the fileds like this : Driver : com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver URL : jdbc:sqlserver://-----:1433;databaseName=xxxxx and i have given name and password. Now if i am pressing Test Connection , it is showing connection failed. So please such me in this part and if any modifications in driver or any please suggest me. I am facing a problem in sorting field. From the jasperforge i downloaded the samples folder and in the Accounts Report example there are 3 fields and u applied sorting to them. But if we select the first field to sort then the arrow is appearing and we are unable to sort the other fields. if one field is selected then other fields are not sorting. Even we are clicking the other it is not sorting. So please give the clear clarification about this. Do we have any other process to implement.

Thank u for the information. i did what u said and i deployed report1 and report2 in server. while running them the report1 output is loaded and i clicked on the department number(hyperlink) and it is transfering to report2 and giving this error. Error Message: com.jaspersoft.jasperserver.api.JSExceptionWrapper: Error executing SQL statement for : report2 Please reply me as soon as posible. Thank you .

Thank you soo much for your reply ... And i have one more please give me the process for it ... " We have two reports .... Report1 is giving the output of total departments in a company ... So now i want click on the department number generated from report1 and that should pass as input to report2 and that will give the individual department details ." Please help me in this part. I tried in many ways but i am not getting the exact output.So please please give me the exact process .

Please tell me the exact process of compiling jasper reports with java program ... If posible please send me the example files like .java and .jrxml . i will try with your examples and i will build my project accordingly.... please try to send some examples and links etc .
