Hi, SOLVED. I placed the second subreport inside the "summary" band - it works both if I use the "summary" of the main report, and if I use the "summary" of the first subreport.

Hi, I have two subreports inside the same report. The length of the first subreport is not fixed, as it depends on how many rows are returned by a parametric query. Is it possible to tell iReport that the second report must start immediately after the end of the first subreport? I tried to graphically place the two subreport one after the other, but iReport interprets the layout in absolute sense, i.e. it places the second report on the exact place _on_the_page_ where I designed it , not after the end of the previous subreport (whose length is not known at design time) thanks mariarita

I could get the desired result even with a sub report, but in iReport 4.5.0 I can not find the button for subreport. I saw examples of this, but used iReport 3.0.0
