  1. Hi chenny , Can I ask how you transfered your jrxml files from the old version to the new one? I understand you can upload throgh the web front end. But it seems this is just one report at a time. I have 400 reports in jrxml format, from version 3.1, that I need to import into 4.5 ce. Anyone else have any suggestions? Thanks, Josh
  2. Thanks for the reply chenny, I may end up having to go with a new 4.5 install. If anyone else has any suggestions, any help is greatly appreciated. The js-ant verbose option does not give me any further information. It is importing my user's.. If I run import-upgrade-ce again I get warnings that all my users already exist, then the same exception comes up right after the user warnings.
  3. I am trying to upgrade from jasperserver 3.1 ce to the lattest ce version. Following the documentation I must first go from 3.1 ce to 3.5 ce, then 3.7 ce, then cp 4.5 I exported my 3.1 data using, js-export.sh --everything --output-zip js-3.1-export.zip I am using the 3.5 buildomatic scripts.. the drop-js-db, create-js-db, init-js-db-ce, and import-minimal-ce steps all complete without issue. When running the import-upgrade-ce step, the import of my 3.1 data fails with the error bellow: (java) 09:38:34,894 WARN JDBCExceptionReporter:77 - SQL Error: 1054, SQLState: 42S22 (java) 09:38:34,894 ERROR JDBCExceptionReporter:78 - Unknown column 'this_2_.type' in 'field list' (java) 09:38:34,896 ERROR HibernateDaoImpl:61 - Hibernate DataAccessException (java) org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.HibernateJdbcException: JDBC exception on Hibernate data access; nested exception is org.hibernate.exception.SQLGrammarException: could not execute query (java) Caused by: (java) org.hibernate.exception.SQLGrammarException: could not execute query (java) at org.hibernate.exception.SQLStateConverter.convert(SQLStateConverter.java:67) I am not sure why I am getting this error? Also, I wanted to make sure I am using the proper 3.5 package? I could not find any older downloads on the jasperforge site, so I got my binary package from sourceforge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/jasperserver/files/JasperServer/JasperServer%203.5.0/ I am using jasperserver-3.5.0-bin, This does not specify if it is ce or pro and not sure if this is the issue.
