Just a followup.. we have reports that were developed in Ireports 3.1.4 deployed to a jasperserver that has been upgraded... and the upgraded version supports Ireports 4.5.1... So I installed 4.5.1 and created the report and then deployed to the upgraded jasperserver and that's when I noticed the allignment didn't stick..

So I created a simple report. I placed a static text label in the title. Horizontally alligned it to CENTER... I run the report and it centers just fine in Ireports. I deployed it to jasperserver and it ignores my center allignment. We use to use Ireports 3.1.4 so are you saying that the jasperreportsx.x.x.jar that is being utilized is not the latest one for the upgrade? on Jasperserver?

So has there been a solution for this... ughh. Text is not staying centered for me when I deploy to japserserver

Any status on how you resolved this? I am getting same error when I try and create a domain. When I try and save the domain within the repository I get this error..
