Lead Developer - Business Intelligence BASIC FUNCTION: The Lead Developer is responsible for working with members of the architecture, software engineering and product management to design and implement the Data Mart solution for the Trellis platform. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: · Experience working with data warehouses, data marts, and OLAP technologies · Experience in Extract Transformation and Load (ETL) design principles · Demonstrated experience in using Business Intelligence tools and Reporting · Experience designing, maintaining and implementing aggregate data marts · Experience designing secure data access layer to support multi-user and multi-tenant applications · Ability to develop complex SQL and PL/SQL queries · Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, terminology and architecture · Excellent communication and collaboration skills · Design, Develop and Interpret Dimensional and Predictive Models · Lead internal and contracted teams to perform detailed design of the software · Prove the feasibility of an entire software architecture, parts, and aspects leveraged by prototyping QUALIFICATIONS: · Bachelors or Master's degree in computer science or related field. · 5+ years experience leading enterprise software development and coordinating project teams of 4 or more members · 5+ years with hands-on experience as team lead, developer or architect for BI/DW system · Fluent in English. Other languages a plus. · Experience with developing analytic applications, dashboards, reports, scorecards · Broad and deep data warehousing and data integration experience · Strong conceptual and analytical skills: SQL, problem solving, performance tuning, test case analysis. · Full life cycle experience in data integration, data warehousing, and master data management.
