  1. I want to use the JavaFX WebView component (in particular, the Willow browser - http://code.google.com/p/willow-browser/) as my browser for Jasper Server, but it does not work well at all - I can not open reports with the mouse, and right-clicking on nodes does not work). Some things do work, but most of the functionality does not. Has anyone used this?

  3. Double clicking to open and edit the report from the server is what we expect from a modern application. But having to right click and "replace" in order to save the report back to the server is not good. It's a step backwards and very confusing to my clients. The "save" command should just save it back to the server. Why has that not been done. Furthermore, if I edit the XML directly, my changes are not saved back to the server even if I right click.
  4. I too have trouble saving main.jrxml to the jasper server repository (My jasper server is on linux with Tomcat and Postgres database). First, if I make changes to the layout, I have to right click on the main.jrxml and choose "replace". This is bad since I edited the jrxml from the jasper server and would think that the saving of it would go back to the server without having to do a "replace". Second, if I manually edit the jrxml parameters, I can not get it to save back to the server no matter what I do. 5. Have you seen this related post? http://jasperforge.org/plugins/espforum/view.php?group_id=112&forumid=102&topicid=91077 Post Edited by johnmodla at 10/02/2011 14:07
  6. Have you looked at the JasperReports Server Community Project Installation Guide (release 4.1.0)? It gives info on upgrading. I attached it here because I couldn't find it on the website.
