  1. Hello, We are observing an odd behavior. In Jasperserver 5.2 Domain Designer, when we attempt to create a domain with left outer join, it doesn't seem to take effect. I.e. When we save the domain and go back, the join is reverted back to inner join. Has anyone seen similar issues with JasperServer version 5.2? There is a old community post suggesting left joins were not supported in previous versions (3.x) but it should be working now. Any insight is appreciated.
  2. Is it possible to use the custom report templates or style templates created in iReport for building new ad-hoc reports in Jasperserver? If so, how? If not, what is to best way to apply common styling, such as logos, fonts, colors, etc., to ad-hoc reports?
  3. Since this posting, has there been any new features that allows user to add logo/image via ah-hoc UI, instead of having to go to iReport? As mentioned here, we'd also prefer that users not have to use iReport, as we're talking about high-level users with no/little knowledge of report development tools. The whole point of adhoc is to avoid complex dev tools, so such formatting features would be very useful. Anyone know of a solution?
  4. I'm running Jaserserver-pro 5.0. I'm attempting to create an OLAP connection, but the option is not available in my 'Add Resource' menu. I only have an option for 'Mondrian XML/A Source'. Not quite sure what I'm missing. Is this something that needs to be configured? How can I get this option to display?
  5. Two related questions: Can we create a data source for web services (wsdl) via ad hoc editor? if so, how? I don't see web services or XML as one of the available data source options? If web services cannot be use, can we use a XML file? I see that we can add XML as a resource, but cannot use it as data source to created views/reports.
  6. I'm attempting to create a domain using a jdbc datasource. I 've created the datasource, and now when attempting to add a domain using that source, I'm not able to do so. I'm stuck in the domain designer, i.e. i've added the necessary tables and validated the objects/joins. But the 'Ok' button is not enabled which will allow me to save the design. What am I missing?
