  1. Thanks, I'll give one of the font approachs a try.
  2. Hi all, I'm new to Jasper Reports, so this is probably a newbie question. On the other hand, searches didn't yield anything in the forums that I recognized as the same issue, so here goes.... I've created a report using iReport Designer. When I preview the report using the internal viewer, it looks fine. When I preview or generate a report using PDF, I get odd wrappings of text. For example, a field will wrap a single character to the next line for some values and not for others. Sometimes the wrapped text is by word, most often by character. It is *not* a spacing issue. One field is 250+ characters wide and yet will wrap a single character in a word only 7 characters long. Often, the wrapped field is *shorter* than those that don't wrap. This happens on multiple fields/values in various columns. For example, the field value "IT Asset Management" in the page header will not wrap, but "Banking" will do this: Bankin g I've attached a PNG of a sample header that has the problem. There doesn't seem to be any logic to it that I can see, and playing with various properties has not helped. Any hints? I'm using iReport Designer 4.0.2 and Java 1.6.0_22 Post Edited by gsemones at 07/11/2011 18:28
