  1. Try setting the PDF encoding to "CP1250". If it is already set to "CP1250", set it to something else, and then back to "CP1250". Not sure if it helps, but it worked for me a couple of times.

PARTIAL SOLUTION (for anyone maybe having similari requirements for a report): - enclose all fields of the report in a frame sized as the entire band it resides in, - define conditional styles with desired top and left padding, depending on a input parameter, - assign main style (with created conditional sub-styles) to your frame.
  3. Hello everyone, I have a question about setting the margins for a report; due to specific precision requirements, top and left margins on my reports should be modifiable by a certain parameter before generating and printing the report. How can I achieve this in iReport 4.0.1? Ideally, i would pass a parameter with an offset value in pixels, but I do not know how to do this. Can it be done through a Scriptlet? I am not very proficient in Java, so any help is much appreciated. Thank you in advance, Daniel H.
