Hi , facing the jboss daatsource error with driver update but i dont want to deploy the entire web-app as we have customized code and jar files and lot of config changes which gets lost if we deploy entire web-app. Error: address: ([("deployment" => "jasperserver-pro.war")]) - failure description: { "WFLYCTL0412: Required services that are not installed:" => ["jboss.jdbc-driver.mysql-connector-java-commercial-8_0_28"], "WFLYCTL0180: Services with missing/unavailable dependencies" => [ "jboss.data-source."jboss.naming.context.java.jdbc.jasperserverAudit" is missing [jboss.jdbc-driver.mysql-connector-java-commercial-8_0_28]", "jboss.data-source."jboss.naming.context.java.jdbc.jasperserver" is missing [jboss.jdbc-driver.mysql-connector-java-commercial-8_0_28]" ] } wanted to use mysql jar instead of mariadb. tried changing the js-jboss7-ds.xml to mysql driver and it gives above error when tried by restarting jboss only and facing the above problem. please let me know if anyone has updated mysql jar in target files and resolved above error. any early help is super useful at present we see the connection related issues and trying to check if using mysql native driver will help. Hi All, i have one report which uses 2 data sources. https://community.jaspersoft.com/wiki/how-use-2-different-database-connections-and-sql-queries-same-report 1. <property name="com.jaspersoft.jrs.data.source" value="repo:/public/Samples/Data_Sources/source1"/> - used this for main report 2. <property name="com.jaspersoft.jrs.data.source" value="repo:/public/Samples/Data_Sources/source2"/> - used this for dataset 3. deployed the report into jasper server and didnot link any datasource. 4. report is running fine when we run in the system 5. report is failing when triggered through schedule and issue is report is not able to find the datasource repo:/public/Samples/Data_Sources/source1". Please help suggest as soon as possible as i am in middle of testing phase. Regards, Chandu

Thank you very much for your reply. i am just trying to figure out that can we use talend which gives jasper files as output by taking any input. can we use etl tool to take a webi report as input and migrate it to jasper report output and playing with that jasper report for more advanced stuff.

i have also done report developement in jasper for infomatica pcmr reports when we have done the migration project from informatica reprots to jasper.

Hi, i appreaciate you that you could able to find solution for this. i also have same requirement but did not understand how u r using label + as it is a static content which cannot be applied hyperlink and how to use html component.if you have any any process listed for this which can better explains how to use it report and the jsps. can you please share the jrxml that you have created. r u using this report in your eclipse environment?i want this report to work in jasper server. please let me know how can i achieve this. your support is highly appreciated.

Hi , i am finding noway to my below issue. my need is as follows. 1) user A will login into the server with the user id user1 user B with user2 2) i have a report with html 5 TimeSeriesLine Chart 3) now what i want is when user1 logged and runs the report it should show bar chart and for user2 it should show Pie Chart. now,how we can pass the LoggedInUserName as a parameter to the chart to change the chart type according to the user preferences. i know that we can pass LoggedInUserName to the query but here my focus is not data but on the chart type change based on user prefernces. please correct me if i am wrong and let me know if you need any more detailed information on this. Hi , i am trying to provide a hyperlink from a report to the adhoc view ediotor. i want to test a use case where a user want to go to a adhoc editor in jasperserver when he/she clicks on specific bar of the column chart or bar chart. i also want to pass parameter from report to adhoc view editor as well if possible. i was able to provide hyperlinking between a main and subreport using advanced properties and hyperlink on measures. i am trying to refer to the view using different property names as below: _flowId value as path of view in organization _resource value as path of view in organization _flowId&resource= value as path of view in organization please guide me on this how i can identify a adhoc view just like i have identified the report using the property name _report. i see that in jasper forum they are suggesting to sue url based which is not well protected and need to provide seperate security using acegi security framework,so i am not keen on this part. i tried that url based and i can navigate to adhoc view ediotr just like i go to google when i click on any bar. i want to navigate to the adhoc view ediotr in way like identifying the view and going. if any thoughts to accomplish this using javascript please do let me. your thoughts are highly appreaciated. thanks chandu

hi Giulio, i have generated a html 5 column chart in iReport and loaded to jasper server. my need is i have to navigate to adhoc designer from the report which i was able to do using hyperlink for measures and bucket values for categories but it is showing in the same page. i want to show this adhoc designer in a modal window or pop up so that the user can see the designer and close it and will be in same report page. i am using below code to navigate under properties section of categories. "function(){return window.open(http://deyar02-is005:8084/jasperserver-pro/flow.html?_flowId=adhocFlow&resource=/adhoc/Ad_Hoc_View&j_username=jasperadmin|hcl&j_password=jasperadmin)}" it is working with window.open('url'),window.alert("url") but coming in same window. please advise me on how to go about this.

Hi all, How to embed Javascript functionality in HTML5 Charts(Bar chart in my case) to get a pop up for the Detailed Report when clicked on any Bar of the Bar Chart in jasper Server Pro-5.2.0. i am trying to develop the report from iReport Pro 5.2.0 an ddeploy into jasper server pro 5.2.0.
