  1. Changed Assigned User from - to @User_306070 Same error for me. Happens with JasperServer 5.6 (after updating from 4.5)
  2. I also updated from 4.5 to 5.6 and I experience the exact same error. Have you found a solution for this issue? Best regards, Michael
  3. Hi, I have the following situation: I have a input component, that reads from a table of database A. In the select statement of that input component, I need data from database B e.g. select * from table_of_database_A where row > 'some data of database B' How is it possible to provide my database A input component with the data of database B? Thanks in advance, best regards
  4. Hello, when using Safari, I experience some errors while navigation through JasperServer 4.5 Following scenario: I click on a report. The report is shown on the screen. After that, I click the back button of my Safari (!) When clicking on the report again, I get an error. (see below) When clicking the back button of JasperServer it works well. Only when using the Safari Back Button, I get this message. Works also fine with Firefox and Chrome... Thanks in advance! 5. Have you found a solution on this issue or does any other have one? I'm facing the exact same problem right now. Help would be appreciated. Thank you.
  6. Hello, I am using JasperETL 5.0 and my database is Postgres 9.1 If I export my jobs, JasperETL is using a very old Postgres 8.3 Driver. How can i change the driver settings to use the newest? Thank you, Regards Michael
  7. Hello, i would like to know if there is a component to execute simple SQL Statements or even better, PL/SQL Procedures. Thanks in advance, Michael
  8. Hi, i would like to know, if it is possible to create "dynamic" parameters for reports with date parameters. For example, i would like to send a report with data of last week. But in the scheduling formular, i am only able to choose "static" dates, e.g. 26th Nov to 01.Dec. Is it possible to set the parameter for "last week" oder "last month"? Does anyone knows a similar solution for my problem? Thanks in advance, Michael
  9. Hi, i noticed that the actual problem is not sending emails (although this feature would also be nice) .... the reports aren't even generated. Are there any log files, except the apache logs, where i can look for?
  10. Hi, I have a problem with the report scheduler. If I set up a schedule (with the jasperadmin user), the scheduler simply does not send an email with the given report. My js.quartz.properties looks like this: report.scheduler.mail.sender.host=mail.XXX.com report.scheduler.mail.sender.username= report.scheduler.mail.sender.password= report.scheduler.mail.sender.from=reports@XXX.com report.scheduler.mail.sender.protocol=smtp report.scheduler.mail.sender.port=25 I have tried to send an email manually with the snmp protocoll and it works without username and password. So the mailserver is not the problem. I have also tried to set username and password, but this did not work either. The apache logfile does not write any errors or information about this issues. I also do not get any messages to my jasperadmin user. At first, i forget to configure the js.quartz.property file and i got many messages concerning the report generation and the connection issues to the mail server. But now, after i configured it, i do not get any messages ... I hope i described the problem sufficiently. Can anyone help me with this problem? Thanks in advance, Michael
  11. Hello! I have the following problem: My JasperServer contains several users which come from different companies. They can run reports based on their data stored in my database. It would be nice if i could display the company logo on top of the report, depending which user is logged in. I have already done a google search, and i found this link: http://polimetla.com/2010/02/23/jasperreports-image-loading-static-vs-dynamic/ though i do not know how to fill this variable with the current user name/role. Is this possible? thanks in advance
  12. Hello, I have a question concerning the JasperServer Repository Plugin. When i want do deploy a new Report created with IReport, i use the repository window by right clicking -> add -> JasperServerReport. After that i import my current opened jrxml file, define my data source and so on ... After the report ist created, i can view/edit him by double clicking the jrxml file in the repository window. But if i click on the jrxml file, iReport only opens a temporary file. If i edit this temporary file, the changes are only made on my harddisk, not in the Server repository. Is there any way to make the deployment/change of the reports more comfortable? Best regards, Michael
