  1. In Jasperserver 3.7 we could run a report through URL. I integrated Jasperserver with my web application with this tecnique. In Jasper server 4.5 we cannot run report through direct URL. I have a web application and I want to show a report in an iFrame from the Jasper server 4.5, can anyone please help me. Thanks in advance.

  3. ramnik Wrote: This is actually bug in JS Pro 4.5 1. when we disable the security ,we cannot upload any files. This is serious bug and will be fixed in next coming version. For this version , you can use these workarounds :- 1. enable the security 2. and please give the detail error message in server login ..there will be other way to fix that error message..for example - editing the validation properties rather than turning off the security So, please provide detailed error log when logging into the server for the 5321 error log [ from jasperserver.log] thanks Ramnik Kaur Lead QA Engineer Hi Ramnik Thank you. Is this a bug of JS-Pro 4.5 only? I think the community edition has the same error. I also found nothing in jasperserver.log. regards, ehaque

  5. Very strange behavier by Jasperserver 4.5 Sometimes I can be able to upload files(JRXML), sometimes not, both in LINUX and WINDOWS environment. No hints found in logs, no error megssage. In one world it's "mysterious".
  6. I am using Jasperserver 4.5 on Windows XP (SP3). I am trying to upload a JRXML file in repository and getting a error message "The file was not uploaded. Please try again. ". I also sent through log file anf found nothing. Can anyone please help me. I am also trying to upload/change jrxml file of created report but it is not working, even it is not providing any error message. However I can change/upload them by iReport.
  7. You can try with "security.validation.input.on=false" in WEB-INF/classes/esapi/security-config.properties file. This is not a good solution but it should work.
  8. I got the same problem while creating/editing any report. Then I set "security.validation.input.on=false" and everything is working now. I am using XP (32 bit) SP3. Putting input validation false is not a good idea I think (though I dont know any option). Is this a bug or I have missed something while installing? Can anybody please help!!!
