Hi, I have a problem. We create bills with jasperreport (we're using JasperReports Version 3.7.3). In the center of the bill is a detail band that contains the positions of the bill. It could look like this (where every row is a detail band): Short Description Descriton Quantity Cost Something This is something you can buy 1 10 EUR Something else This is something else you can buy 2 20 EUR Another Thing This is another thing you can buy 3 30 EUR If there is a line break in the description column, jasperreports normallyl cuts every letter that doesn't fit into the text field. What I want to do, is to enlarge every exemplar of the detail band and the text field, that has a line break, without englarging the others. Is there any possibility to do that and can jasperreports detect, that there should be a line break or do I need to calculate it by hand?
