  1. Hi all, I want to create a role for users which should be no able to create own reports or dashboards, when they login they should have no button "Create a Report" and in the menu bar should be the option "Create" also removed. It would be also great if it would be possible to remove the "Repository" option in the View menu. I have JasperReports Server 4.5.0 Pro in use. Many thanks in advance. Chris
  2. Hi, we have have JasperReports Server 4.5.0 Pro and using iReports for creating reports. During the testing phase we used the admin account for uploading the reports from iReports to the server, but at the end I don't want to share the admin account to all report designers. So I tried to create a separate user which can upload reports, but unfortunately I was not able to do this. Can anyone tell me which role is required or what config I have to change? I don't want to give admin rights to normal users. Many thanks in advance. Chris
  3. Can anyone help me, I cannot believe that it is so difficult to create a report with multiple pages. Right now I added one sub report into the summary band followed by a page break and the second sub report. The result was that the first sub report was shown correctly, also the second one was shown on the second page, but on the second page is the page header and footer not shown. I used also the page property "Show page header and footer on Summary page" but this didn't help. Thanks, Chris
  4. Hi Ed, 1) Yes, the subreport run on it's own and it shows me the correct line chart. 2) I had to put it into the Summary band, because when I put the chart into the Detail band then it generates 178 pages with the same chart, maybe there is another solution for this issue. Thanks, Chris
  5. Sorry, the Topic is wrong, I mean Subreport is not shown. Regards, Chris
  6. Hi all, I'm fighting since a couple of hours with a sub report. I created a simple main report which should show a sub report, but when I run the main report then the sub report will be not shown. Please can you help me because I need to provide this report today, I have the reports attached. Many thanks in advance. Regards, Chris
  7. Hi jkanounji, I tried this but then there will be only the last entry in the dataset shown. Regards, Chris
  8. Hi all, I’m a Newbie and have some challenges with iReports. I created a subreport, which has only the ‘Column Header’ and ‘Detail’ band, now I want to add a line chart object to the report. I tried it in the Column Header band but then I get only a chart without any data, and when I add it to the Detail band then it shows the data but the report have then 16 pages because the chart is shown 16 times in the report. Please can you help me to place a simple line chart to the subreport which shows data but not 16 times? /tools/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/regular_smile.gif Many thanks in advance, Chris
