Title:Jasper Reports Developer Skills:Jasper iReports, jrXML, XML, XPATH Vocado provides a student life cycle and school management platform targeted at small to mid-sized educational institutions. We make extensive use of Jasper Reports and have an opening for a short term contract for someone to develop a range of reports using iReports and jrXML. Responsibilities: * Data analysis of specification * Build reports using Jasper Reports and IReport * Build xpath queries to obtain relevant data from the Vocado database * Verify that every coding path is unit tested and nearly bug free. * Verify that reports meet functional specifications. * Participate in full integration testing. * Rapidly address issues and fix defects discovered during formal QA testing. Key Skills: * Jasper Reports and iReport (3.7). * XML and XPATH. * Familiarity with Java and JBoss would be a plus. * Linux (CentOS or redhat) platforms. * Agile-style software development team, including SCRUM. Experience Requirements: * 1+ years of Jasper reports experience. * 2+ years of BI reporting experience.
