Hi, I'm facing following problem: I want to enable global propertie "net.sf.jasperreports.text.truncate.at.char" with value "true". I added it in following file: "/WEB-INF/classes/jasperreports.properties". But this change has no effects to my reports. Also a restart of tomcat had no effect. When i change this property in iReports and run the report from it, it works fine, but not on jasperserver. I run iReports version 3.7.5, JasperServer version 3.7.0 I attached an expample and the properties-file. The first row should show the text "Das hier ist ein Beispieltext der sehr lan" (= text which iReports shows me), but on jasperserver i only get "Das hier ist ein Beispieltext der sehr". Hey all, i solved the problem =) You have to set the full path to the "PDF font name" property, e.g. "C:/WINDOWS/fonts/arial.ttf". I also tried to load the fonts into the repository ("repo:arial.ttf"), but that only worked with the jasperserver, not with my application. BR Mark

Dear all, I have a problem with the fonts in PDF. In my report the textfields should be able to print unicode texts. For that i found a solution in a forum: I added the font arial.ttf into the repository, set "Pdf Embedded" true and the "Pdf Encoding" to "Identity-H". (see attachment) When i run the Report from the Jasperserver (http:localhost/jasperserver), everything works fine when i generate the PDF report. But when i run the same PDF report from my WebApp, then i get following error: net.sf.jasperreports.engine.JRRuntimeException: Could not load the following font : pdfFontName : repo:arial.ttf pdfEncoding : Identity-H isPdfEmbedded : true Has anybody an idea whats wrong? hi all, i'm facing following problem: When i use styles in iReports (i have the problem also in the latest 3.7.5 version), the performance of iReports is very bad. This means when i click on a textfield it takes about 3-10 sec that the focus is on the textfield (it depends on the amount of textfields). i tried to define the styles in a *.jrtx file and in the report itself. But this makes no difference. When i use no styles for the textfields, iReport works normally. But when i work with iReports 3.5.0, i can use styles without any performance problems. Has anyone an idea what causes this perfomance problems? Thank you!
