Hi Shazinfy, I use iReport version 3.0.0 and i have try to use version 3.7.5 but I still can't found the new feature in jasper to solve my problem. can you give me the example one report that has just one data in detail band and it has line from the top detail band to the top on page footer band. Sorry, I can't provide the sample data because I don't have xml file with data (I never try to use xml as datasorce). I use the mysql database as my datasource.

I want a summary on the end of each page. Probably, this feature not available in jasperreport. Now, I think that to solve this problem with manipulate my java source code, not in the report.

I need to the summary in page footer. I try your trick, but that still not solve the problem. This is my screenshot of my report.

I want this line just in detail band. I want create the report has page footer that contain summary of data in detail band. if the data in detail band is not full, the line in is not reach the footer. Can the line in jasperreport to overflow across a band?

Hi all, Anyone know how to create vertical line in detail band using iReport? I want this vertical line connecting the header band to footer band. I tried to use a Line from pallete but the line cannot reach the footer band. Anyone can help me, please..

Hi etdube, Thanks for your information. I have read the "Jasperreports for Java Developers" that said the Jasper report include two Excel exporters, JExcelApiExporter and JRXlsExporter. it's preferable to use JExcelApiExporter (the newer Excel exporter). thanks again, your info is very helpful.

I think to change the jdbc connection is from your java code. but, why did you use one report? is the table from one database is same with another database?

I think you can use edit expression in date field. have you to try edit expression?

Can Jasperreport to export crosstab table to Excel automatically synchronize the table cells with excel cells? this is the jrxml file (attached).

Dear all, I have create a report that just contain 1 crosstab table in Summary band. When I preview this report is done. The problem occur when I exporting the report to excel file. The error message is "The maximum column width for an individual cell is 255 character". Please help me how to solve this problem.. Thanks.
