Hi i have groups based on category name and i wanna index the pages based on category for example category1....page 3 category2...page 18 this is my info variable name: indexText class: String Reset type: report Incrememnt type: group calculation : nothing variable expression $V{indexText} = $F{CATEGORY_DESCRIPTION}+ "........ " +$V{PAGE_NUMBER} it gives me the error "left hand side of the expression has to be variable???? Help and thanks in advance

Hi i have have multiple columns on one page and i want them to be aligned vertically and horizontally. The problem is that when one column have more information than the rest then it doesnt align horizontally with the other columns. Is there a way to make all the other columns align with the biggest column in that row. or any other solution to this problem Thank u in advance
