Did you ever solve this? This has happened to me and I have no idea how to fix it, except maybe a complete reinstall.

I am attempting to add a jdbc driver, but even after I've added it (and successfully connected) the driver still does not appear on the JDBC Driver drop-down within the Create Database Connection wizard.
