I must have miss one change but which one.
  2. Hello I have recently installed jasper server on a standalone PC ... and could'nt log in (see image below). I have stop IIS, check the firewall, stop and start services ... everything seems OK. Any idea would be highly appreciated, i must admit I am stuck. Lionel
  3. First of all many thanks to jmac9 and Emsto for the work around they have built. I have just struggle a little bit to identify the backtick sign on a french keyboard.and also added a replace Type=MyISAM by engine=MyISAM in the foodmart-mysql.sql file With the listed modifications, the installation works fine I am now facing a new issue but i think it is related to the set up of he port on the localhost server. 4. Many thanks for this answer. I will try the bundled exécution first to see if it works. Then 2 ideas to get out of this problem let me know your feeling about them peform the bundled installation on 5.1, move the jasperserver database to 5.5, "reconnect" jasper to 5.5 (thats the tricky part) Capture the SQLgenerated during the install correct the syntax and executé it using the MYSQL console (but how to capture the sql ?).
  5. Hello, I am facing an issue while trying to install jasper server on a windows vista pc with a MY sql 5.5.9 preexisting database using the automatic installer. jasperdb user is created, jasperserver database also but with no tables. Then it is not possible to launch jasperserver. Sugar CRM database are created and populated; After investigating the installation log, I think that it is due to a character set issue. the script "js-create.ddl" generate the following error. C:\PROGRA~1\MySQL\MYSQLS~1.5\bin\mysql.exe: Unknown OS character set 'cp0'. C:\PROGRA~1\MySQL\MYSQLS~1.5\bin\mysql.exe: Switching to the default character set 'latin1'. ERROR 1064 (42000) at line 2 in file: 'C:\PROGRA~1\JASPER~1.0\buildomatic\install_resources\sql\mysql\js-create.ddl': You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'type=InnoDB' at line 8 The MYSQ database default character set is define to Latin1. I have made several tests : Ignore( and don't) character set value sent by client during handshake) System file character set to latin1 and blank Without any succes. If someone has faced the same issue or have any idea i would really appreaciate some help Lionel
