Thanks Gaby (you seems to be not very far from me.) your are right. I found that I let the passwd at "password" in the file /jasperserver-ce/apache-tomcat/webapps/jasperserver/META-INF/context.xml But at the same time the passwd of jasperdb in the database was different because I changed it for security : so that is my fault ! hello, I have installed a Jasperserver 3.7.0 CE on the web with an account of demo in order that the visitors can test. I have bought the official documentation, I have managed to get the maximum security (password, access rights on the accounts) some month after, the Jasperserver was not working any more (web page). I looked in /logs/Catalina.out and the main last record is: the 10/09/10 : access to database Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: Access denied for user 'jasperdb'@'localhost' (using password: YES) No way to restart the server. The problem is that I want to propose customer reports on that server and I am reluctuant to reinstall the same thing without any mean to restart the service. I have not found in this big tutorial I bought, any method to diagnose where would come the problem or the security hole : can you provide me with a method ? thanks a lot. William

Hi, thank you, I did not find the compatibility solution (nobody is talking of that, nohere). the SOLUTION is simple du to an obvious BIG regonomy mistake in the Ireport plugin : I try to describe : - I have many subreports in a report - when I test and display the subreports and main report, I change of tabs and come back to main report to change something, and then : you are in the main report (on any other) in teh display and on the repository navigator, you click right (on the sub-report per ex) an click on "replace with current document" : so you have copied the main report in the subreport in the depository ! As you do not have any mean to test subreports on the Jasperreport what you have stored on the main repo but only by reload on the plugin : I am a newbie and jump into that easy failure ! Hope will help oters and devoloppers to link display tab with depo navigator in the iReports plugin. regards William

Or login as - jasperadmin to manage a single organization joeuser/joeuser to see an end user's view" I bought and read the Ultimate guide but it is not in : - I think it is in WEB-INF/decorate but I do not now where. the file decorate.jsp calls jsp.main.title jsp.main.exclamatio jsp.main.welcome jsp.main.as I do not know where to find and change their contents.
