Hi, I have a field in my report table containing the RGB colour code, and i would the backcolour of my field to be the colour specified in the RGB field - Please can you let me know if this is possible. Thanks.

I am trying to combine a date and text field in a string as follows: "Start Date: "+$F{date} But i would like to keep my date formatting, so I have tried the following: "Start Date: "+(new java.text.SimpleFormat("yyyyy.MMMMM.dd ")).format($F{start_date}())) But I receive the following error when compiling my report: startup failed, Script1.groovy: 1: unexpected token: ) @ line 1, column 104.1 error Any assistance would be appreciated.
