Can some one please suggest how to set descriptive field for image .I'm able to embed the image but couldn't find information about the alt field .
PDF 508 complaint

We want our reports to be 508 complaint .Right now we are using Jasper reports library version 1.2.6. When i went through forums it was said from 3.1.2 jasper reports produce 508 complaint PDF reports .Is that True? If is true .Can we upgrade our server from 1.2.6 to 3.1.2 jasper reports directly to get 508 complanint PDF reports without changing actual coding part of the report?
