  1. We recently made the move to OS X (Leopard) and I cannot seem to get iReport to work. I've installed iReport into the Applications folder, but when I click on the icon to launch it, it appears to launch (icon gets big and bounces around on the dock), but the application does not show up and the icon on the dock vanishes. I did change the java version from 1.6 to 1.5, but am not sure if this would affect iReport 3.7.0 being that I have the same setup on my Windows 7 machine. If this is the case, what would I need to modify so iReport utilizes the correct VM (1.5 in my case)? I'm trying to keep from using iReport via Parallels. Thanks, - Leo
  2. I could not find any solutions via my search, so I appologize in advance if this has already been covered. I created a report using iReport, and while I can export the report as a PDF via a servlet, I cannot suppress the footer (i.e. page 1 of 25) when exporting the same report as a CSV or EXCEL file. Is there any way to do this via Java/servlet and without modifiying the jrxml file?
  3. Just a thought, would I be able to pass parameters via a URL string, and how secure would that be?
  4. Is there any way to generate "live" reports? What I have in mind is, a link that would point to a report directly. When that link is clicked, the report is generated then and there. If a few minutes later new data is entered into the DB, and that same link was clicked, the report would be different from the first. I'm sorry if this question has been answered before, but I'm relatively new to development and am not sure how this all works. I'm looking for any example, or tutorial, I can use as a starting point. Thank you.
